Yorktown Windmill Project

Yorktown Windmill Project
Yorktown Windmill Project
The goal of the project is to reconstruct the windmill originally constructed in Yorktown by William Buckner ion 1711. The windmill stood as a landmark for a century and a half, and was included in paintings of George Washington and in maps from the American Revolution and the Civil War.

MAS Epoxies were used as adhesives and as a coating for the sails, stocks, windshaft and other wooden components that extend outside of the building. The project is scheduled for completion in September of 2011.
